Because Jason Told Me To

So…I had a pretty good day today. I went to a block party in simi. I was invited by a friend at work. It was nice…even though it was hotter than heck. I could only stay for a couple of hours…but I enjoyed myself. It was nice seeing Andra and Larry. There was also a great band that played. I suggest you check them out. They’re called Whiskey Business. www.myspace.com/whiskeybusiness. So…I headed out of the party around six to make it to Ventura to see one of my friends, Jason Sharp, open for Anna Nalick. The concert was astonishing. Even though it was supposed to start at 7:30, it didn’t get started till about 8:15. Jason did amazing. Everyone was trying to sing along with Reflections, but he kept changing it up on us. haha. The whole crowd became very emotional when he played one of his most recent, Upside Down. It was great. Then a band called Joshua Radin came on. They were pretty good. Then…came Miss Anna Nalick herself. Let me tell you…she puts on quite a show. It was great. She played every song except the song I was most entrigued to hear…Catalyst. I was kinda bummed about that, but at the same time…I know that it didn’t happen for a reason. I have a feeling that that song would’ve triggered tears…and I don’t think that was the right environment for that. BUT…I did feel the nearness of God throughout the entire day…and just having him near…was good.

So that was my day, in a nutshell. : )

o…btw…JASON…u told me to blog…i tell u to comment…heheh
